經過了 13 年的等待，詹姆斯卡麥隆執導的《阿凡達：水之道》終於在本週於倫敦舉行了媒體首映會，而本片在首波媒體評價中也獲得了普遍的好評，不少記者都再次被導演詹姆斯卡麥隆所呈現的視覺效果徹底震撼。
24小時最熱
這部睽違已久的《阿凡達》續集，講述潘朵拉星球再次面臨另一個全新的威脅，而分別由山姆沃辛頓以及柔伊莎達娜回歸演出的傑克蘇利以及奈提莉，必須要起身捍衛他們的家園。本片的其他演員還包含雪歌妮薇佛、史帝芬朗以及凱特溫斯蕾。
在《阿凡達：水之道》舉行媒體放映之前，《羊男的迷宮》大導吉勒摩戴托羅就搶先看過，之後更在推特上大力讚賞了這部《阿凡達》續集是個令人讚嘆的成就。
即使本片有 3 個小時又 10 分鐘的驚人片長，但似乎並沒有任何媒體人對此感到困擾，就連導演本人也不太介意觀眾們暫時離席去上廁所：
「我不想聽到任何人抱怨這個片長，他們明明可以連看八個小時的電視。我幾乎可以預料到有影評會寫說：『令人痛苦又漫長的三個小時電影』。你們饒了我吧。我看著我的小孩坐著連看五集長達一個小時的影集。總有人得說出口：『你們去上廁所是沒有問題的。』」
